This is a lovely hand sewn stitchery/hanging in the style of a shabby chic union jack!
It has been sewn from various lovely fabrics ~ Ikea Rosali Paisley, Globaltex Sage Green Dotty, Laura Ashley Heath Green Gingham and topped off with some cornflower blue polkadot grosgrain ribbon.
The back has been made in Ikea Rosali Paisley with a label stating *Handmade With Love By Miss Hetty Rosepepper*.
It measures approximately 16 inches long by 12 inches wide, and has two tabs made from white woven cotton tape from which to hang it.
This was my first attempt at making a flag, so it's not perfect, so please bear that in mind when considering a purchase, but I still feel it is very pretty and in keeping with the shabby chic/homemade feel we all love so much.
I usually use invisible thread to sew together my stitcheries, however this time I have not, so the stitching together of the various pieces can be seen (it has been done in various co ordinating threads) so please do bear that in mind (I have tried to illustrate this in my photos).
The cost for this hanging is £9, which includes P & P.
